Mark J Taylor | Marketing Communications

I have been an independent marketing communications consultant since 2005.

Before that I worked in the corporate communications department of AMEC (an engineering company) for 11 years.

My experience

My experience spans most areas of brand development and the production of websites, print and events.

I can turn my hand to most things. I also work with brand agencies, graphic designers, websites designers, photographers and video companies as required.

I have worked with organisations ranging from global companies to children's charities.

 

A few of the things I have done

Since graduating from Manchester University, I have been involved with many interesting projects including:

• Managing a two-year client sponsorship with Formula 1 team McLaren

• Promoting an online community for young people in care

• Running management conferences in UK, Canada and France

• Commissioning a wide variety of photography on locations around the world

• Producing financial and shareholder presentations and AGMs

• Designing exhibition displays

• Writing and designing corporate websites

• Creating newspaper and magazine adverts seen across the Middle East

 

Qualifications

I completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing in 2002.

My working knowledge of design packages includes Photoshop, Quark, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and PowerPoint.

I have a lot of experience at searching out eye-catching images for a project.
